Psych Profiles

Posted on Sun Jul 26th, 2015 @ 3:10pm by Counselor Melony Taylor

Episode: Orphans
Location: Counselor's office

Melony relaxed back in to her chair, notes scattered everywhere on her desk, she was rewriting psych profiles of those affected by this trip and it was turning out to be more difficult than she had planned only because she was spending more of her time with those colonists most affected by the creature attacks.

Not only that but a few of the colonists who were looking forward to beginning again on Dreyas Four and knowing that all the preparation and planning to relocate to become colonists of Dreyas Four would be delayed perhaps indefinitely was taking its toll on them, leaving her with almost no time to write anything up. It mattered very little to her, knowing the colonists wellbeing was more important however with them dropping them off at Starbase 126 she had to catch up with it, not having them to hand over would leave them at a disadvantage.

Two hours later she stopped for coffee, realising she was eating in to time she should probably be sleeping, though she was almost done with most of any rewriting that was needed only one remained; April, the woman who had stumbled across the dead body. Melony wasn't sure how long it would be before April recovered from this with her still having nightmares it wasn't going to be easy for her, and it was the one report she had been avoiding doing, hoping she would have something positive to write, however it didn't seem like that would be the case this time.

Coffee in hand she returned back to her desk glancing over at the notes for her crew, so much for starting off easy and easing everyone back in to things after the incident on their last ship. What is it with Starfleet's missions, nothing ever seems to go quite as smoothly as it should. After dropping the colonists off at Starbase 126 she promised to herself that she would not allow her crew or the captain to get away from some debriefing of their own. Though she thought her head sinking that would mean more paperwork for her, there seemed to be no end in sight of it for her.
