Introducing our new XO

Everyone, I'd like to introduce you to our new (kind of) XO - Kyle, who will be playing Lieutenant Commander Vincent Holt.

As I mentioned in a previous news item, I'd selected Kyle for XO a little while ago, but we were waiting on making the details public as he wanted to make sure his biography was top quality before it became official. Those of you who have been on the Highlander for a while may remember Kyle from his previous stint with us - he played Commander Ra-Xialii, who was our last XO on the Endeavour and our first when we transitioned over onto the Highlander. Any who wrote with him before should know that he's a great writer, and I'm glad to have him back with us.

I'll be getting a few posts rolling shortly to introduce our two new characters and to kick-start the Preparations mini-mission (before the counsellor and I get dragged off to the conference on berengaria) - I'm just waiting for a few more details from the fleet's director of resources about the new slipstream drive we'll be getting so I can put them in with the context of the posts.
