Hi all

Just to keep you all in the know, but Kyle - who plays our current first officer, Commander Ra-Xialii - has let me know of his intention to step down, due to real life taking up too much of his time. I've worked with Kyle for quite some time now, so I'm sad to see him go, but we all know that RL can creep up on us every now and then.

Kyle's said he's going to try to finish up a post he has in the work with Hawke, and I also need to come up with a way to write him out of the ship in character, so you may see his name sticking about on the manifest for a little while until that's sorted.

In terms of the XO spot, I'm going to give Hawke (Mike #2) the post OOC for now - IC, we're going to work his character through the various bridge command tests that have already been spoken about, and he'll get promoted to the post once those are done and he's qualified for the post in character :) He'll also retain the helmsman post until we get a replacement for that spot

Once that move has been made, I'll then be bumping Mac (Mike #1) up to the second officer spot, at which point I'll start putting his character through those self-same tests :)
